Glo Hotel Kluuvi: "Glo Luxe Double" room | Hotel Room Review
My Room: Superior Room on the 3rd Floor with a river view

Glo Luxe Double Room
I arrived at the Glo Hotel Kluuvi pretty late at night so I was beyond thrilled to hear that my room had been upgraded. When I opened my door I couldn't believe how large my room was! It's definitely bigger than my flat in London. The first thing I noticed was the cute little stuffed animal on the bed. What a great marketing tactic! I seriously debated buying the cute little thing. Alright so let's get into this review.
There are so many amenities you get with a reservation at the Glo Hotel Kluuvi. All guests are provided with a 24 hour front desk staff, room service, free bike rentals, a breakfast buffet, and Kämp spa and gym access.
A Glo Luxe Double room comes with all of the above and 26 squared meter of space that fits 4 people, high speed internet, a double bed, a minibar, a couch area, ironing board, umbrella, bath amenities including bath salts and a scrubber, bath robe and slippers, tea and coffee set, blackout curtains, a desk and workspace, and a tv.
The room is huge! There was so much space in my hotel room it was unbelievable. I absolutely didn't feel cramped at all. I also liked how the toilet was completely separate from the shower area. This would be so convenient when traveling with multiple people. I also want to point out that I was on the 8th floor so I had a great view!
I felt extremely safe here. Not that Helsinki is a dangerous place at all. Actually it's one of the safest cities you could travel to! But the hotel does keep its guests safe anyways! You need a key card to enter any of the floors of the hotel so random people can't just walk up to your door.
Although this is a 4 star hotel the service was up to par with 5 star hotels. There is a 24 hour front desk/concierge that can help you with all your needs. I needed to ship a package and the front desk staff was so helpful. I was also able to get a late checkout no problem! Everyone was always smiling and so friendly. I definitely felt at home here and would come back with no hesitations!
100% I'll be back at the Glo Hotel Kluuvi. It has the most perfect location, right in the center of Helsinki. Getting there is so easy. You can ride the Finnair bus from the airport which drops you off at the main train station. Then from there it's only about a 5 minute walk to the hotel. I absolutely loved and appreciated that the hotel had amazingly fast wifi. It's the worst trying to do work with awful wifi. If you're a business person or a digital nomad you'll know my struggle. So this made my stay that much more pleasant. Lastly, it's hard to find a space so big in Europe. Usually rooms are quite small. But the Glo Hotel Kluuvi offers rooms ranging from 13 squared meters to an impressive 68 squared meters. It's a great hotel for traveling in groups or business travel!

As seen in Gossip Girl. A Palace fit for all the Serenas out there.
A hotel suite that goes for 1300 to 1500 Euros a night. Luxury at its finest.
This hotel, by far, has been one of the most charming I have ever stayed in. The Festival Wing rooms are magnificent! If you're looking for a place to stay while visiting Salzburg, Hotel Goldener Hirsch is it!
I braced myself as the door opened to my 3rd floor, room 310, superior room.
Everyone knows that the Las Vegas strip is filled with 21st birthday celebrators, bachelor party goers, and 3 day weekend ragers. Yes, the clubs are enticing and the casinos are tempting. But, to me all this doesn't really matter. The party is not what I go to Vegas for. For me, Vegas is the ultimate place to be pampered and being pampered means staying in the best rooms on the strip.
