MatchaBar Makes Its West Coast Debut

Hailing all the way from New York City, MatchaBar finally inserts itself into the caffeine filled Silverlake neighborhood, making Silverlake that much more hip. MatchaBar is so new to Los Angeles that it doesn't even show up on Instagram's location tags yet! But, with the hype surrounding this little green cafe I'm sure it'll be on the map, literally, by the end of this weekend.

Their menu is quite extensive for such a small spot. For drinks, they have matcha (duh) and house specialities topped of with a selection of alternative non diary milk, including hemp, which is rarely found at other hip coffee shops. For food, they have small plates from avocado toast to poached egg pots and a typical glass box filled with matcha infused baked goods (yes there are vegan and gluten free options here too!).

Matcha infused drinks have been on everyone's radar lately. So it's no surprise that MatchaBar has made it's west coast very Instagrammable debut. With a prime color scheme of white, mint, and green who could walk away without taking a quick snap of a matcha latte on the white marble counter or of the "Matcha To The People" neon signage?
