12 Supermoons in 12 Hours

Tonight, the night of Nov 13, 3016 and morning of Nov 14, 2016, a supermoon or a scientifcally termed perigee-syzygy appears in the sky. This supermoon will be the largest and brightest one Earth has experienced since 1943. The moon will appear to Earth 14% larger and 30% brighter than its usual self, peaking at 5:52am PT. The next comparable supermoon is approximated to occur in November 2034.  I'm photographing the moon every hour from 6pm PT to 6am PT and am uploading them onto this post as I go. An alarm every hour, a supermoon every hour. Who else is staying up with me?

PS. I apologize for my shaky hands. Tripod is currently out of commission.
